Partial solar eclipse“It’s not the end of the world; it’s just the middle of the night.”
Loudon Wainwright III.

Eclipses are wild cards; they shake things up, turn life upside down and accelerate the process of deep change. They can feel chaotic, fated and like Mardi Gras, anything can happen. Eclipses often bring news of life’s big events; a birth, marriage, divorce, promotion, a move, or some kind of breakthrough or breakdown. We will all feel the energy of the eclipse but if you have a planet or angle at the degree of the eclipse you’ll experience it more profoundly.

Solar and Lunar Eclipses occur only when the Earth, Sun, and Moon align at the Moon’s nodal axis, about four times a year.

Eclipses arrive in pairs in the form of a New Moon (Solar Eclipse) and a Full Moon (Lunar Eclipse). They are super powerful New and Full Moons.

They repeat themselves every 19 years. Look back to see what was happening 19 years ago; it is part of the current story.

A Solar Eclipse is a new beginning, an initiation, a starting point.

A Lunar Eclipse marks endings or culmination points. It can sometimes mean loss.

If an Eclipse falls on your birthday, the year that follows will be eventful.

Their influence can appear up to three months before and can be felt up to six months afterward.

Some Advice: During an Eclipse we are “in the dark” and it can feel confusing and chaotic. That’s the beauty of Eclipses; they to throw us off balance, then hit us with fresh information concerning situations that we have either taken for granted or we’re not seeing clearly enough. It’s an opportunity to look at life from a whole new perspective. So, slow down, breathe deeply, and stay open to the new information that is coming to you.
